Six Flags Hurricane Harbor – LA
In 1995, the first Six Flags Water Park was born. Adjacent to Six Flags Magic Mountain a brand new water park was constructed with the name Hurricane Harbor. The success of the water park led to the creation, and re-branding, of other water parks in to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, and it all started with Six Flags Hurricane Harbor LA. Here’s a 2015, complete walk-through, and review of the water park, including images and reviews of each individual slide complex. Continue reading “Six Flags Hurricane Harbor – LA”

California TOP 50 – 2015 – Part THREE (30-21)
California Coaster Kings rated many coasters, and although we’re usually not fans of listing/ranking rides or parks, we do create an annual California TOP 50! You might, and likely will, disagree, that’s totally fine! That’s what this TOP 50 is all about! Of the many rides in the state, we selected the 50 we think are best! Here are places 30-21 in the 2015 California TOP 50! Continue reading “California TOP 50 – 2015 – Part THREE (30-21)”
California’s Great America Update – June 9th 2015
We were very happy to be back at California’s Great America for another update, and good thing we were as there is a lot going on. Huge numbers of school trips were at the park, major construction is being done, new theming has been added, and an old ride is getting a new look! So, I could fill this intro with so more nonsense, but I think we’d both much rather get started with this update, so let’s do it! Continue reading “California’s Great America Update – June 9th 2015”

Raging Waters San Jose – June 5th 2015
Raging Waters San Jose is one of the lesser talked about water parks in California by enthusiasts, but we believe it’s uniqueness and terrain give the park some rarely received merit. The park also has a decent collection of slides and attractions highlighted by Bombs Away, the first trap door slide on the west coast, and Sidewinder, a racing mat slide new for 2015. Continue reading “Raging Waters San Jose – June 5th 2015”

Dare Devil Chaos Coaster Media Day

We had a fantastic time and got to experience Dare Devil Chaos Coaster for the first time. Just as a prelude to our thoughts on the ride, no matter how you feel about the marketing for it, it is a very fun and thrilling ride that we loved, and I’m sure the general public will as well when it officially opens today.
