We’re fortunate enough to have ridden all traditional Giga coasters in the world (that means lift-hill followed by several additional elements). August WDW: Your Own Personal EPCOT
For the most part, things are quiet over WDW all things considered. EPCOT was no exception, with its 500 acres comfortably swallowing up modest crowds. As far as comfort and peacefulness goes, there may have never been a better time to go!

Kings Island – Early August 2020

Cedar Point – Late July 2020
Alexander: With 2020 being as stressful as it is, we figured a Platinum Pass and a trip to Ohio would be a nice way to help cope. Our Cedar Point visit wasn’t perfect, but we’re grateful to have been able to go at all.
Walibi Belgium – Mega Coaster Construction – July 2020
Sven: After our visit to Plopsaland earlier this month, we also had to visit the other Belgian park that’s building a big new coaster for 2021: Walibi Belgium! There is quite a big difference between the two construction sites so you’ll definitely want to see these pics!

Indiana Beach – Back from the Dead
Alexander: In the wake of Indiana Beach’s miraculous return to operation following the announcement of permanent closure in late 2019, we decided to head to the park as soon as possible to check it out!

Knott’s Taste of Calico
While Knott’s Berry Farm theme park remains closed, Knott’s Ghost Town is the setting for the all-new, limited time outdoor food and retail experience, Knott’s Taste of Calico. Sven: The Belgian parks got green lit to open on July 1st. What park did we choose to visit first? Well, only Bellewaerde opened with a new coaster this year so that made it easy to choose. Parc Astérix – Staying at Les Quais de Lutèce Hotel
Sven: I hope you have already heard of Parc Astérix. It’s the theme park less than an hour away from Disneyland Paris with rides that DLP doesn’t have. Major coasters and 4 water rides! We went for a two day stay and enjoyed their newest hotel: Les Quais de Lutèce. You’ll want to see this!
