Floorless Ninja: How Vekoma Trains Could Elevate the Blackbelt of Coasters

Alexander: Here at CCK, we love Ninja. It’s one of our favorite coasters in California, and a must-ride on every visit to Magic Mountain.

We are also huge Arrow Dynamics fans in general and are positively enamored with Arrow Suspended coasters. The 5 Arrow Suspended coasters still in operation are my favorite coasters at their respective parks (yes, even Cedar Point’s Iron Dragon)

Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest 2017 – Scare Zone Reviews

Sean: Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest is back for another big year of haunting. In the past years they have had a lot of Scare Zones, they toned it down a bit to just six this year. Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest has been one of the few events that has always impressed me with their Scare Zones, and unlike separately ticketed events, much relies on their Scare Zones. CraZanity – World’s Tallest Pendulum Ride – Coming to Six Flags Magic Mountain in 2018!

Sean: Six Flags Magic Mountain, which just announced they’ll be open 365 days a year starting in 2018, is adding a new themed area with games, shopping, dining, and a brand new ride named CraZanity. Justice League: Battle for Metropolis Opens within Metropolis at Six Flags Magic Mountain

Sean: After many updates of both Justice League: Battle for Metropolis and The Riddler’s Revenge repaint over the past few months, it is now finally time to experience both attractions as part of Metropolis! We were invited to the VIP Party the night before the opening to the public, and our team had a blast. Let’s take a look at Six Flags Magic Mountain’s newest ride, and the relaunch of the World’s Tallest, Fastest, and Longest Stand-Up Coaster!

Viper and Vekoma MK1212 Trains

Sean: As you may have read in our brand new Six Flags Over Georgia report, we were huge fans of Blue Hawk at the Southeast Six Flags park. Blue Hawk went through life as Kamikaze for two years before opening as Ninja at Six Flags Over Georgia in 1991. For the 2016 season the ride has received a makeover with brand new MK1212 trains from Vekoma. The ride is now one of the best loopers we’ve ridden.
