Waterworld Concord will be rebranded Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord, when it opens this spring for the 2018 season. Northern California’s biggest and most thrilling waterpark will debut an exciting new attraction—Splashwater Island—a colossal water play area featuring more than 100 interactive sprayers, water jets and geysers. Six Flags St. Louis Freeze-tacular
Alexander: Who’s ready for another layover adventure??
This time my work brings me to St. Louis, where Sean and I were able to enjoy what is arguably the most underrated Six Flags park.
Coaster wind-chill was below freezing, but that didn’t stop us from having a Freeze-tacular Six Flags day!
Floorless Ninja: How Vekoma Trains Could Elevate the Blackbelt of Coasters
Alexander: Here at CCK, we love Ninja. It’s one of our favorite coasters in California, and a must-ride on every visit to Magic Mountain.
We are also huge Arrow Dynamics fans in general and are positively enamored with Arrow Suspended coasters. The 5 Arrow Suspended coasters still in operation are my favorite coasters at their respective parks (yes, even Cedar Point’s Iron Dragon)

Sean: Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest is back for another big year of haunting. In the past years they have had a lot of Scare Zones, they toned it down a bit to just six this year. Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest has been one of the few events that has always impressed me with their Scare Zones, and unlike separately ticketed events, much relies on their Scare Zones. Splashwater Island Coming to Waterworld Concord in 2018!
Byron: Waterworld Concord, which was recently reacquired by Six Flags will be adding a new attraction in 2018 along with the rest of the Six Flags parks. Their new water play area, Splashwater Island, marks the largest addition this decade. For a water park, the promise from Six Flags of a new addition each year should mean some pretty significant change, as even small investments capital wise carry a lot of weight.
