Six Flags Magic Mountain Update – July 3rd 2018

Sean: As I had the day off and woke up late, I decided my day was best spent at Six Flags Magic Mountain’s July 4th Fest. I was looking forward to enjoying the atmosphere, get some rides in, and of course stay for the fireworks. Needless to say I rode Viper a couple of times. Electric Eel – SeaWorld San Diego’s New Coaster!

Sean: A big reason for our journey down to SeaWorld San Diego last week was to experience the new Electric Eel roller coaster that the park opened in May! This Premier Rides Sky Rocket II coaster combines a bunch of spectacular coaster elements into a compact layout, making it the perfect ride for SeaWorld San Diego. Disneyland Paris Update – Marvel Summer of Heroes – June 17th 2018

Sven: Since the Walt Disney Company took over the resort in Paris, we have seen quite a few changes. One look at the event calendar and you’ll have a hard time planning when to visit. HangTime, California’s First Dive Coaster, Opens at Knott’s Berry Farm

Sean: This is a good year for the Californian Cedar Fair parks! Both Knott’s Berry Farm and California’s Great America are opening world-class coasters this year. HangTime is a Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster and opened at Knott’s Berry Farm this week as California’s first Dive Coaster! CraZanity and Boardwalk Backstage Tour at Six Flags Magic Mountain – May 2018

Sean: Six Flags Magic Mountain was so kind to invite us to their next CraZanity construction tour, we were unable to make it, but our great friend Edward at Ride! was able to attend and create a report for us! Phantasialand: Disney, but Better

Sean: We have traveled to quite a few parks around the world and we got the conclusion that we like Phantasialand the best. Not only is this park a thematic wonder world, it is a heaven for coaster enthusiasts too. The park is home to (arguably) the best Inverted Coaster, Multi-Launch Coaster, Spinning Coaster and Mine Train, while offering some of the best themed-settings this world has ever seen. Phantasialand in Brühl, Germany is famous for its detailed environs, top-notch entertainment, and unparalleled collection of roller coasters. In 2016, however, Phantasialand’s already stellar status pierced the stratosphere with the unveiling of their magnum opus: a basalt-laiden norse wonderland called “Klugheim.”
