Farup Sommerland Season Start 2023 & stay at Blokhus Strand

It’s already been a year since our team headed to Farup Sommerland to rise with Fonix. Last year we flew on the wings of the firebird. A year later our team member James headed back to North Jutland to experience the park again and stay in the local area. Today I will tell you all about the trip, where I stayed and my day in Farup Sommerland. Let’s get started!

Djurs Sommerland in 2023- What’s New & Where to Stay

We had an amazing time at Djurs Sommerland during the 2022 season with 2 incredible visits and are amazed at just how quickly the time has flown by! Today we’ll take you through quick look back through Djurs Sommerland’s biggest season ever. This included the introduction of a huge new themed world and expansion and a crazy halloween event. Pützchens Markt 2022- Trying out one of Germany’s largest funfairs

Germany is really well known for it’s overwhelming and magnificent funfairs- including the world famous Oktoberfest- the biggest funfair in the world. The country is also home to some of the largest travelling rides in the world. In September I headed to one of the biggest fairs in the west of Germany – Pützchens Markt – and I thought that it would be exciting to share my experience.

Fantasiana- A World of Magic Awaits

Fantasiana is one of Austria’s leading theme parks including a whole variety of dark rides, a stunningly themed log flume and 2 family rollercoasters. The park is Austria’s second most well known theme park and is located only 30 minutes away from Salzburg- which makes it perfect to combine with a city break in one of Austria’s most famous and historical cities. Tibidabo Announces New Thrill Ride for 2024

Following the removal of Hurakan (Top Spin), the emblematic amusement park of Barcelona has recently announced the addition of a new thrill ride for 2024. The park is also developing a new plan for specific attractions in order to maintain and renew its socio-tourist appeal providing new sensations and experiences to its guests, while maintaining the essence of historic attractions.

Roaring into a new world of Dinosaurs at Djurs Sommerland

If you’ve been keeping up to date with us lately, you’ll know that we’ve been taking you on a tour of the major theme parks in Denmark and all of their latest developments. Not only has Denmark had the blessing of an epic development like a brand new Vekoma, called Fønix, just on the other coastline you can find a brand new development, called Dinosaurland, which has recently opened up its doors to the public. We checked out Dinosaurland on the opening weekend at Djurs Sommerland. We were also very lucky to have an exclusive meeting with the park’s CEO! So expect all the interesting updates in this article!

Spring has sprung at Tivoli Gardens

Tivoli Gardens is one of those parks which changes upon the seasons. The park can look completely different depending on whether you visit in spring, summer, autumn or winter. Tivoli has recently reopened for the 2022 season and the park couldn’t look more decked out for spring. There are beautiful flower beds all over the park and the cherry blossom is looking more vibrant than ever before. Fountains dance on the lakes and the crowds are out in full in the spring sunshine. Today we will take a look at the latest additions to the park and everything that caught my eye during my day at Tivoli.

Legoland Billund- The Original Park Keeps Going Strong

Did you know that Legoland Billund is the world’s original Lego park? If not, now you sure do! Therefore Legoland Billund houses a lot of the original Lego attractions- such as the original Dragon rollercoaster. Emma and I headed out to Legoland Billund to explore the park and see what’s new. It was my first time, however Emma has already visited the park- you can read her take on the park here.

Mythica- Legoland Windsor: A first look

It’s safe to say that 2021 is a huge year for the UK theme park industry. There have been new additions across the UK such as The World of David Walliams, Croc Drop and of course Tornado Springs (read our article here). However, one of the most exciting additions will open this Saturday (29th May) at Legoland Windsor Resort. We were so lucky to be able to explore LEGO Mythica before it opened to the public and would love to share a first look with you. Warning: this article contains spoilers!
