SeaWorld San Diego – Trip Report July 2016
We were back at one of our favorite parks in the state (or anywhere really), SeaWorld San Diego! The park that perfectly combines rides, exhibitions, shows, animals, landscaping, and family fun. During this visit we made sure to get our last One Ocean show in, and we spent quite some time in the animal exhibits. Of course we also rode the park’s rides. That and a whole lot more in our Trip Report! Continue reading “SeaWorld San Diego – Trip Report July 2016”
Summer Vibes in Full Swing at SeaWorld San Diego
Yesterday, we got a chance to visit SeaWorld San Diego, and got a chance to check out the all new Summer Vibes Show; Gazillion Bubbles. This show, housed in the Mission Bay Theater, featured Guinness World Record holding bubble artist Danny Yang. “World record holding bubble artist?” you ask. Well Danny and his family hold the record for world’s largest bubble (156 ft long) and most people fit into a bubble (over 100).

Desperado at Buffalo Bill’s
We recently visited a coaster that is usually closed when we pass by. It’s one of the tallest and largest coasters on earth, but it is not often discussed. We took a drive out through the middle-of-nowhere to finally get on Desperado, and we loved it! Check out our review of the ride and look at the big hyper coaster in this article! Ride Review: Wildfire – Kolmården Wildlife Park
Alastair: It’s what Europe has been waiting for since 2013, when the incredible RMC topper-track coaster “Outlaw Run” opened at Silver Dollar City in the US – finally, an RMC on this side of the Atlantic! Last week we visited Kolmården Wildlife Park in southern Sweden to try out this latest wooden monstrosity; Wildfire. Continue reading “Ride Review: Wildfire – Kolmården Wildlife Park”
Ride Review: L’Embruixabruixes – Tibidabo
Alex: I went to Tibidabo in Barcelona today to try their newest ride, the rethemed “L’Embruixabruixes”. This ride is the oldest attraction at the park, and last year it turned a 100 years old. With the last renovation being 11 years ago it was time for an update! Continue reading “Ride Review: L’Embruixabruixes – Tibidabo”
S&S 4D Free Spin perfect for Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has just come off the back of a big investment, and even better hit with The Joker. With that, we understand another coaster is most likely not coming in the next year or two. Despite all this, we had a chance to check out Batman: The Ride, the S&S 4D Free Spin model at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and boy were we big fans. We loved the ride as a whole, but more than anything we noticed just how well such a ride would fit at our very own Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.

SeaWorld San Antonio – Trip Report
The third park we visited on our Texas trip was SeaWorld San Antonio! The park is greatly situated on elevated land and features a giant lake as its centerpiece. This park, unlike our local SeaWorld San Diego, has a thrill-ride collection in addition to stellar shows and awesome exhibits. The park felt well rounded and definitely not cramped as there was ample space between stadiums, exhibits, and rides. The park took us by surprise and was a very enjoyable place to visit. Join us as we take a look around the park!
Six Flags Fiesta Texas – Trip Report
The second park on our California Coaster Kings Texas trip was Six Flags Fiesta Texas. A wonderfully located Six Flags property in San Antonio that features an outstandingly awesome lineup of rides and shows. We had just one day to visit the park, but that full day was plenty of time to ride all the attractions and see some shows. The park features world renowned coasters like Iron Rattler, Superman Krypton Coaster and Batman: The Ride, as well as other awesome coasters like Road Runner Express and Poltergeist! Join us as we take a look around the park in this trip report!
