Our Brazilian friend Raphael’s back with the fourth report of his 2016 travels to the US! Let’s hit up… KINGS ISLAND!


You know that your day is going to be special when you arrive at one of the best-known theme parks ever and the music that is playing is “Don’t Stop Believing” by the Glee Cast (which happens to be my favorite TV series of all time). That is how Kings Island welcomed me. I felt a lot more excited than I thought I would be, and Invertigo doing its thing next to me gave me the energy to run through the gates, grab my FastLane Plus and go to Banshee, my first coaster of the day. Universal Studios Hollywood Celebrates Lunar New Year with Kung Fu Panda Stars!

The “Year of the Rooster” gets a wake-up call from DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda stars, Po and Tigress when they make their first-ever appearance during Universal Studios Hollywood’s annual Lunar New Year. The event is included in the price of theme park admission and will take place from Saturday, January 21 to Sunday, February 5, 2017. Electric Eel Launching at SeaWorld San Diego in 2018!

SeaWorld San Diego just announced their new coaster for 2018, which features an electrifying theme and color scheme and will launch riders high above Mission Bay as San Diego’s tallest and fastest coaster! The new Premier Rides Multi-Launch coaster is part of the park’s huge makeover and will add to the park’s line-up of thrilling attractions! Universal Studios Hollywood – SOLD OUT – Park Update!

After wrapping up some Holiday-related trips it was time to head back to Universal Studios Hollywood for a few hours! And I only stayed for a few hours indeed, as upon arrival it became terrifyingly clear I was here on the wrong day. It took about an hour to enter the park, and by the time I left a few hours later, the park had sold out for the day! Holiday in the Park Opens at Six Flags Magic Mountain – 2016

Special Events Coming to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

untitledThe Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk will be hosting a variety of special events in the coming months as they often do around this time of year. Santa Cruz locals enjoyed Hot Rods at the Beach and the Sea Glass and Open Art Festival, and can look forward to Holiday Train Rides, and the Boardwalk Holiday Bash.  These events will be taking place during limited operation, with operation of major rides and attractions on weekends only.
