“Sunny day! Sweeping the clouds away!”
“On my way to where the air is sweet!”
“Can you tell me how to get – how to get to Sesame Street?!”
Alexander: As it turns out, Sesame Street is just a hop, skip, and a jump from Bosque Mágico! Our next park on the ACE South of the Border tour is Parque Plaza Sesamo!

Sean/McLaren: We swung by Knott’s Tuesday to see what was going on during this nice afternoon in Southern California, and to see if Boomerang deconstruction had progressed at all since its closing, after operations ended on April 23rd. In this Update we’ll also take a look at the awesome progress being made on Knott’s Soak City. Which is receiving 7 new slides this year!
GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS —
Sean/McLaren: Knott’s Berry Farm officially opened Sol Spin on April 21st after several weeks of construction and testing, and of course we were there to check it out! The park’s newest ride is located on the lot where WindSeeker used to reside and offers guests a totally unique experience in the Californian theme park world. Let’s take a look at Sol Spin and what our experience of the new thrill ride was like!
Spring time is in full bloom at the farm and the newest thrilling installment has arrived at Knott’s Berry Farm just in time to enjoy during the popular Knott’s Boysenberry Festival. Sol Spin will bring brand new hair-raising thrills to the Fiesta Village area starting (Today) April 21st.
Sean: As you may have read in our brand new Six Flags Over Georgia report, we were huge fans of Blue Hawk at the Southeast Six Flags park. Blue Hawk went through life as Kamikaze for two years before opening as Ninja at Six Flags Over Georgia in 1991. For the 2016 season the ride has received a makeover with brand new MK1212 trains from Vekoma. The ride is now one of the best loopers we’ve ridden. We believe that Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain can benefit from these trains, to assure amazing ride experiences for years to come!
Knott’s Berry Farm and Susan G. Komen Orange County have partnered for a fourth consecutive and successful year to raise more than $108,000 for breast cancer awareness and services for the local community during Knott’s for the Cure promotion in January.

Sean: Another week, another Six Flags Magic Mountain update! We’re in the midst of Spring Break crowds and the park was filling up quickly today. The weather was awesome and like every Spring, there are more changes around the park that we will address in this week’s update. Including new restaurants at Metropolis that have opened, repaints of water slides, and more!
Sean: After visiting two of the country’s best parks, that have been in the spotlight a lot recently, it was time to check out another new park in the South. The most Southern of them all… Six Flags Over Georgia! One thing I may have learned on this trip is: if it’s another Six Flags park, expect another Six Flags experience.
Sean: It’s always a good time for a quick update! Especially when Sol Spin has started testing and has been programmed! In addition to which, even though the stickers/patterns have yet to be added to the ride’s mechanisms, the light package is already working! While we take a quick look at Sol Spin and its light package, we’ll also discuss the Boysenberry Festival light package on Supreme Scream!
Jeremy: This week we ventured out to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom to see what has been going on at the park lately, as well as to see if there is a glimpse of Wonder Woman in the making. We went to the park this last Friday, and there was quite a downpour of rain in the beginning of the day. To our surprise though, most everything was running! Let’s take a look in our new Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Update.
Sean: Another week has passed by and with a bit of spare time this evening I decided to ride some coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain! And whenever I’m at The Mountain I will try get a quick update going. In this update we’ll take a look around the park and at some Metropolis construction, of course!
Sean: One of the best events in the state is back! The Boysenberry Festival at Knott’s Berry Farm! Since we were unable to attend on the opening day for the park’s media event, we visited a few days later! The sun was out and crowds were nowhere to be found! Plenty of great food and awesome rides with minimal lines!
Sean: Guardians of the Galaxy- Mission: Breakout! is already well received by many, and there are still plenty of Disney fans that are upset that Tower of Terror has left Disney California Adventure Park. We’re actually quite excited for the relaunch of the drop ride and the ride looks surprisingly much better than the original concepts! Let’s take a look at the exterior as of the first week of April:
Sean: After riding the World’s fastest, and arguably best, Wooden Coaster a few days prior, it was time to visit the World’s largest Giga Coaster at Carowinds! This park recently received a major facelift from Cedar Fair, one very similar to what California’s Great America is planned to receive in the next few years! The park’s operations were amazing, and the park has a solid line-up of roller coasters! Let’s take a look around the park, shall we?
