Nick: Sea World San Diego announced their 2020 plans to add Mako, a 153ft tall B&M Dive coaster earlier this month. Now, thanks to a filing with the San Diego government last week, we can get a much better idea of the new ride’s layout and position in the park. Let’s take a closer look!

The new themed land will not only be home to some great family rides, but also meet ‘n greets with your furry Sesame Street friends, and of course the brand new parade. Preston: During the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, we decided to head back to the Disneyland Resort to check out the new “Get Your Ears On” festival. The Holiday festivities ended only two weekends ago, but the entire resort has an brand new fresh feeling due to the new celebration. In this update, we’ll take a look at the brand new offerings for Get Your Ears On, the new parking structure and how it’s coming along, some new (and newly reopened) restaurants at the Downtown Disney District, the new temporary Mary Poppins Returns exhibit in Disneyland Park, as well as some routine refurbishments.

Derrion: With not many changes this time around, I need a bit of liquid luck from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, so why not pop in for a bit. Here’s a quick update on some neat things I look forward to seeing in the future at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Sean: This weekend was the second weekend of SeaWorld Orlando’s Inside Look. After the success at the San Diego park, SeaWorld Orlando brought the event to their park and it’s been a hit! We’ve been so fortunate to check out 5/6 Inside Look stations, which we’ll give a short recap of in this update. Derrion: I still cannot believe how fast January is going by in the new year. It feels great to be back at Six Flags Magic Mountain. This time around there were not many changes in the park, but it was still nice to visit on a weekend that was completely empty, the rain helped out as well! Derrion: The holidays are finally over, which means we will have so many updates for you all in the coming weeks. Over the holidays, we had such an amazing time visiting Sea World San Diego on Christmas Day. This was a very impromptu trip and even though it had been raining the entire day we managed to have a blast.
Sven: It’s been a week now, but 2018 is over. The year will definitely be remembered as a wonderful theme park year for Europe. Sean: SeaWorld San Diego is planning on expanding the park not just through new events but also new attractions, such as one of California’s largest roller coasters. At a recent forum last week SeaWorld San Diego presented their plans for the next few years in detail.
