Waterworld California Becomes Six Flags’ 20th property

GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS — April, 27 2017 Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE:SIX), the world’s largest regional theme park company, today announced it has entered into an agreement with EPR Properties, owner of Waterworld California, to operate the water park located in Concord, California. Waterworld California, formerly owned and operated by Six Flags, is Northern California’s largest water park and is located 18 miles southeast of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Knott’s Soak City is Opening 7 New Slides on 2 New Slide Towers in 2017

Knotts-Soak-City-2015-LogoKnott’s Soak City has been subject to small changes over the past few years. These small changes were nothing compared to the park’s huge new 2017 additions. The park will be adding a total of seven new slides to their park’s line up including raft slides and ultra-thrilling drop slides. These slides will be found on two new towers the park will be adding. The Shore Break slide tower and The Wedge slide tower. Let’s take a look! Python Plunge Opens at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

The three new body slides are part of the Lizard Lagoon section of the park and offer great new family thrills. The three new slides join two older slides (that have been refurbished) to create a colorful new look for the entrance of the park, as this slide complex is located towards the very front. SeaWorld San Antonio – Trip Report

20160624_110723 (Medium)The third park we visited on our Texas trip was SeaWorld San Antonio! The park is greatly situated on elevated land and features a giant lake as its centerpiece. This park, unlike our local SeaWorld San Diego, has a thrill-ride collection in addition to stellar shows and awesome exhibits. The park felt well rounded and definitely not cramped as there was ample space between stadiums, exhibits, and rides. The park took us by surprise and was a very enjoyable place to visit. Python Plunge Opening Date!

The slide complex features three new body slides with significantly better layouts than the previous slides in the spot did. They’re part of a newly refurbished Lizard Lagoon. Raging Waters Los Angeles

Raging Waters Los Angeles recently changed its name from the previous Raging Water San Dimas name, and added the high-tech water coaster slide Aqua Rocket last year!
