Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has just come off the back of a big investment, and even better hit with The Joker. With that, we understand another coaster is most likely not coming in the next year or two. Despite all this, we had a chance to check out Batman: The Ride, the S&S 4D Free Spin model at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and boy were we big fans. We loved the ride as a whole, but more than anything we noticed just how well such a ride would fit at our very own Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.

It’s only been a few days, but by now most of our readers know we spend quite some time at Six Flags Magic Mountain. We’re back with a quick update, discussing Tidal Wave, Flash Pass, new Goliath advertisements, Apocalypse, and some more! 😀 
As I visited Hurricane Harbor for the opening of Python Plunge I also made my way over to Six Flags Magic Mountain for a park update. After being out of state for a week there was actually some stuff to update on! In this update we’ll take a quick look around the park, some July 4th Fest preparation, some ride operations, ride refurbishments, and more! 
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles officially opened their newest slide complex today, the Python Plunge. The three new body slides are part of the Lizard Lagoon section of the park and offer great new family thrills. The three new slides join two older slides (that have been refurbished) to create a colorful new look for the entrance of the park, as this slide complex is located towards the very front. Let’s have a look, shall we? 
The second park on our California Coaster Kings Texas trip was Six Flags Fiesta Texas. A wonderfully located Six Flags property in San Antonio that features an outstandingly awesome lineup of rides and shows. We had just one day to visit the park, but that full day was plenty of time to ride all the attractions and see some shows. The park features world renowned coasters like Iron Rattler, Superman Krypton Coaster and Batman: The Ride, as well as other awesome coasters like Road Runner Express and Poltergeist! Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles’ newest slide complex ‘Python Plunge’ is opening this Thursday, June 30th! The slide complex features three new body slides with significantly better layouts than the previous slides in the spot did. They’re part of a newly refurbished Lizard Lagoon. California Coaster Kings visited Six Flags Over Texas for the first time! Several team members planned a Texas Tour for the summer, and the original Six Flags property in Arlington was the first to be visited. We absolutely loved the park, and spent two full days in the humidity experiencing classic rides such as El Aserradero, the Runaway Mine Train and Shockwave, as well as newer intense experiences such as The New Texas Giant and Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast. California is home to so many fantastic coasters, we are lucky to live in a state with such a wide variety of high quality attractions. Having the great collection that we do, there are bound to be a few elements or moments that strike a chord with each individual, and that is what we are here to talk about. Not necessarily the best coaster elements in the state, but rather those that Sean and Byron have the most affinity for personally. These elements deliver memorable and unique experiences for us, and thus are our personal favorite elements in the state. 
Time for another Six Flags Magic Mountain Update! With Hurricane Harbor thrown in this time. There are a few minor changes around Six Flags Magic Mountain, including a new ad-wrap for Viper and Superman Escape from Krypton that’s operating the red train. But more interestingly… the new Python Plunge slide collection at Hurricane Harbor that looks AWESOME! 
It’s been awhile since we’ve delivered a park update up here at the wonderful Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. There’s been a lot of change taking place at the park to kick off the summer season, and in addition, The Joker has been opened… but not without technical issues. We’ve sure got an opinion on that so let’s get right into it. 
This may just be our very first Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Update that I didn’t combine with the Six Flags Magic Mountain Update. That being due to the fact that the park opened for the 2016 Season today and there’s quite some water slide construction to address. The Python Plunge slides will come to the water park later this season! 
It’s Memorial Day Weekend, and that means show time at Six Flags Magic Mountain! The park’s line up of entertainment for the 2016 Season launched today and the park was quite crowded. Nonetheless, the park handled the crowds wonderfully! In addition, the separately ticketed Hurricane Harbor water park opened for the 2016 season next door. In this update we’ll take a look around the park and the entertainment line up for this season! 
We just launched our review of Northern California’s newest coaster, The Joker. But with two RMCs in the state, an inevitable question was raised…The question has been asked by many readers and followers on our Social Media platforms and around the state. Which Californian Rocky Mountain Construction Hybrid Coaster is better? The longest Hybrid Coaster on earth, or the newest? Twisted Colossus or The Joker? Let us dive into that… 
Let’s talk Joker at Six flags Discovery Kingdom, shall we? To the surprise of some, Roar closed mid-August of 2015 to be turned into California’s second Rocky Mountain Construction Iron Horse coaster. The moment the word officially came out of this conversion, most instantly noted that RMC had never worked with a track layout, or structural layout, of a twisty GCI wooden coaster before, which promised a unique Hybrid Coaster experience. Did it live up to that promise? We’ll discuss that right here in our The Joker Ride Review! 
After months of updates and closely following along with construction of California’s newest and highly anticipated roller-coaster, The Joker, it was finally time to experience it for ourselves during the Media Day! This report looks mainly at the Media Day, we’re currently also working on a very detailed Ride Review, which will launch soon! – For those with Six Flags Season Passes, you may ride the Joker May 27th and 28th, more details below!

Where else to go to ride some coaster than Six Flags Magic Mountain right next door? It’s been weird weather the past few days, and today was no different. This did mean that it wasn’t all that crowded in the park, so a quick run in and out of the park meant I could hop on several rides. In today’s update we’ll take some quick looks at the Hurricane Harbor expansion/upgrade, Tidal Wave, the 2017 project, and a bunch of other quick things! 
After a whole lot of theme parks all around the states in the past week and a half, I was finally able to return to my home park, Six Flags Magic Mountain! It sure was a good time to return as there are lots of things going on around the park and Hurricane Harbor, including the upcoming Grad Nite event, The New Revolution that’s now officially opened, tree removal, construction over at the old Action Theater, new slides, and a whole lot more! 
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom invited multiple websites and media outlets to a Joker construction tour at the park. Of course we were there. After the many construction updates we’ve brought you guys over the past few months, it was great to take another behind-the-scenes look at California’s newest coaster.
