Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Construction Update – February 2017

We were able to visit the Santa Cruz beach Boardwalk earlier this month. Although we got a little backlogged on the update for personal reasons, we were able to snap some photos of the construction site for the new entrance area that’s being built this coming summer, and we’d still like to be able to share that content with you guys. Special Events Coming to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

untitledThe Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk will be hosting a variety of special events in the coming months as they often do around this time of year. Santa Cruz locals enjoyed Hot Rods at the Beach and the Sea Glass and Open Art Festival, and can look forward to Holiday Train Rides, and the Boardwalk Holiday Bash.  These events will be taking place during limited operation, with operation of major rides and attractions on weekends only. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Receives New Entrance and Major Park Improvements

Boardwalk-Main-Entrance-drawing1The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has announced a $12 million improvement project scheduled to begin just after Labor Day. Concept drawings released today reveal a new main entrance and a fresh new look for a section of the Boardwalk between Neptune’s Kingdom and Undertow opening in 2017!

Legacy of Arrow Documentary – Review

day-six-of-arrow (1)On Saturday January 23rd, several ACE Members/ Film makers premiered their newest work, a wonderful documentary telling the story of one of the most influential theme-park ride and rollercoaster manufacturers the world has ever seen, Arrow. On January 30th, a week later, the crew came down south to Six Flags Magic Mountain to show coaster-fans their work. I was there and must say it was wonderful!
