Biggest New Attractions Roll-Out in SeaWorld San Diego’s History!

Sean: SeaWorld San Diego is not wasting any time converting the current park into a newer style Marine Park! Disneyland Resort Update – February 15th 2017

On a lazy weekday in February, we ventured back out to the Disneyland Resort just a few days after the fire scare in the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. There was no visible closure of any level in Mickey and Friends so it was business as usual at the Resort. Plainly visible, however, was the amount of construction going on around the park and the amount of marketing for AP Days and the return of Main Street Electrical Parade (for a limited time). KNOTT’S SUPREME SCREAM GLOWS PINK STARTING VALENTINE’S DAY THROUGH MARCH 5TH

Buena Park, CA (February 2017) –  This Valentine’s Day through March 5th, Supreme Scream, towering over 312 feet in the air, will be lit pink and glow for miles in honor of the Knott’s for the Cure program.  During the evening, starting – Tuesday, February 14th, Supreme Scream along with the famous Calico Mine Ride, will glow pink in support of the Knott’s Berry Farm and Susan G. Komen Orange County partnership and will continue to shine across the Buena Park skyline each night for the duration of the promotion. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Construction Update – February 2017

We were able to visit the Santa Cruz beach Boardwalk earlier this month. Although we got a little backlogged on the update for personal reasons, we were able to snap some photos of the construction site for the new entrance area that’s being built this coming summer, and we’d still like to be able to share that content with you guys. Montezooma’s Revenge Repaint UPDATE – February 12th 2017

Last week it looked an awful lot like Montezooma’s Revenge would be repainted to the old Gold it originally opened with. This week we made the discovery that that’s NOT the case. Patriot Trains Are Being Placed on the Tracks at California’s Great America!

California’s Great America showed off the brand new Patriot trains a while ago, and during the park’s off-season, lots of work has been done to convert Vortex to Patriot. The Stand-Up to Floorless conversion is the second one to take place in the Cedar Fair chain. The park just released a video showing off the cars being placed on the freshly-painted blue tracks! Knott’s Berry Farm Update – February 4th, 2017

It was time to check out the progress made on Knott’s Berry Farm’s current projects, and of course catch a ride on GhostRider that reopened from a refurbishment. Interim Educational Killer Whale Presentations at SeaWorld

As SeaWorld® San Diego prepares to debut its new Orca Encounter this summer, the park continues to conduct live, educational killer whale presentations for visitors each day. Temporary seating (bleachers) are set up around the orca underwater viewing area pool, providing park visitors with an intimate killer whale presentation while the new Orca Encounter backdrop is being constructed at the main pool.
