Byron: After taking a break from writing on the site, I am thrilled to be writing again, and what better way to return than to review a ride of Helix’s caliber.
Helix is a Mack Rides roller coaster at Liseberg in Gothenburg Sweden. It features two launches, seven inversions, several strong airtime moments and a sprawling terrain-based layout. Helix was the bucket list coaster for me ever since it opened in 2014, and after years of anticipation, I had the chance to ride it in the summer of 2018. I was so excited I could barely contain myself and before I knew it, I was packed in like a sardine ascending the crowded Liseberg escalators leading us to The Next Level. Every guest in there, myself included, shared one common goal: Ride Helix.
Get ready for an episode full of reviews! This includes Time Traveler, Copperhead Strike, Tigris, Popcorn Revenge and Wilderness! In that area, RMC Hybrid Untamed will open soon and we talked to park director Mascha Van Till! After that, we spin the Manufacturer Wheel of Fortune and speak out about our favorite coasters from the manufacturer that pops up. Enjoy!

Derrion: We had a blast attending this years media night for Knott’s Scary Farm! I’m always excited for the park at this time of year because they have one of the oldest running horror themed events for an amusement park. Knott’s Scary Farm holds a special place in my heart because I grew up attending the event with my family. This update will focus on a review of all the mazes and other additions to this years Knott’s Scary Farm .
Knott’s Berry Farm’s popular Knott’s Merry Farm event has opened for the 2016 Season and we were there to celebrate! Though it was a rainy day, the event is filled with plenty of entertainment, themed areas, and of course rides for an awesome and merry day at the park! Six Flags Magic Mountain opened their huge Holiday in the Park event for the season and this year we find two new themed areas, a new show and an awesome Virtual Reality experience on The New Revolution. The Holiday event features one of the West Coast’s largest light shows, millions of lights, limited-time-only food, characters, and all your favorite coasters, of course. Universal Studios Hollywood opened their popular Halloween Horror Nights events a few weeks back and sold out weekend after weekend. The park’s line-up of haunting attractions this year is great and popular IPs such as American Horror Story drew large crowds. California’s Great America Halloween Haunt has opened for the 2016 Season! They definitely have Northern California’s best mazes (set wise) and have several cool changes in store this year, that greatly improved the preexisting mazes!
