Knott’s Soak City has been subject to small changes over the past few years. These small changes were nothing compared to the park’s huge new 2017 additions. The park will be adding a total of seven new slides to their park’s line up including raft slides and ultra-thrilling drop slides. Coasters are often forgotten about by enthusiasts and the general public when they become rough or they stand in the shadow of newer coasters. Sometimes a ride never becomes well-known even though it truly deserves more recognition. Today we’ll be looking at five such coasters in California. During a recent trip to San Diego, we had the opportunity to visit the acclaimed San Diego Zoo. Although this type of content isn’t exactly in our wheelhouse, we were so impressed by our visit that we couldn’t help but write the following special. The San Diego Zoo is regarded as the best in the country in both their unique and extensive collection of animals as well as their conservation and breeding efforts. It’s time for a quick Six Flags Magic Mountain Update again! With our travels out of state and to other parks such as SeaWorld it’s been a while since we threw in a little update. In this update we’ll take a look at some landscaping, construction, Fright Fest preparations and Tidal Wave! 
After some extensive traveling these past few week I was finally able to make another trip out to the beautiful California’s Great America, and provide an update for our readers. This weekend is the first half of the Taste of Orleans food festival, meaning there are putting the finishing touches on the preparation. In addition, there is plenty going on in the rest of the park for me to report so sit back and enjoy the following update. 
We were back at one of our favorite parks in the state (or anywhere really), SeaWorld San Diego! The park that perfectly combines rides, exhibitions, shows, animals, landscaping, and family fun. During this visit we made sure to get our last One Ocean show in, and we spent quite some time in the animal exhibits. Of course we also rode the park’s rides. That and a whole lot more in our Trip Report! 
Yesterday, we got a chance to visit SeaWorld San Diego, and got a chance to check out the all new Summer Vibes Show; Gazillion Bubbles. This show, housed in the Mission Bay Theater, featured Guinness World Record holding bubble artist Danny Yang. “World record holding bubble artist?” you ask. Well Danny and his family hold the record for world’s largest bubble (156 ft long) and most people fit into a bubble (over 100).
We recently visited a coaster that is usually closed when we pass by. It’s one of the tallest and largest coasters on earth, but it is not often discussed. We took a drive out through the middle-of-nowhere to finally get on Desperado, and we loved it! Check out our review of the ride and look at the big hyper coaster in this article!
