Alexander: We’ve hit a huge milestone, folks! Our very first IAAPA! We’re so excited to see what the convention has in store for us!
Alexnder: Now for something a little different! After a successful day at Chimelong Paradise with some bonus time at Chuanlord Holiday Manor, we spent the evening at the day’s 3rd major attraction: The incredible Canton Tower!
Southern California’s original theme park, Knott’s Berry Farm, will commemorate its 100th anniversary with its largest celebration ever, all paying tribute to the Knott family’s rich history and legacy of family fun for all. Kicking off May 15 through August 30, “A Knott’s Family Reunion,” will bring together old classics with new favorites, which includes the return of the beloved Bear-y Tales story in an all-new 4-D interactive dark ride, bringing to life a continuation of the classic attraction initially commissioned by the Knott Family and created in 1975 by the legendary attraction designer Rolly Crump. Home to many exhibits, killer whales, and the signature Steel Dolphin Intamin Blitz coaster, we were very much looking forward to visiting. Alexander: Our first park visit following our China excursion was a quick stop at Busch Gardens Tampa for, among other things, some fresh photos of Iron Gwazi! Let’s take a look:
Alexander: Following a quick taxi ride from Joyland, we embarked on a fabulous afternoon at one of our new favorite parks: Dinosaurland! (also known as China Dinosaurs Park).
Sven: Like other parts of the world, the Halloween spirit arrived at many of Europe’s theme parks. One of those park celebrates it for the 21st time: Movie Park Germany! As it is known to be one of the better events, we went to Bottrop for the first time to see the event’s mazes and enjoy the atmosphere!

Sean: Welcome to the next installment of our China adventure. One of the many reasons 2019 was the year of this tour was because of the giant amount of new theme parks opening up in China at the moment. In order to keep up we’re trying to hit new parks within a few years from opening. Wuxi Sunac Land opened June 29th of this year and is best known for their giant B&M Wing Coaster: Falcon. Alexander: It’s time for us to spread our wings and travel beyond the immediate Shanghai metro and deeper into the Yangtze Delta megaopolis, (namely the Jiangsu province, which is home to the next several parks on our tour).
Alexander: It’s so great to finally be back at one of our absolute favorite places, Shanghai Disney! And this time we aren’t freezing our butts off like we were in January of last year!
