Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights 2016 – MAZE Ratings and Reviews
In between all the Halloween/haunt craziness (Yes Halloween Horror Nights Reviews are on their way, we’re a bit backtracked is all), it was time to just unwind and spend a fun day at Universal Studios Hollywood, and of course get in plenty of rides on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey! California’s Great America Halloween Haunt opened for the 2016 Season and for the first time in history, the park has added four separate Skeleton Key Room experiences that are absolutely crazy! Since these are unique and exclusive to Skeleton Key holders only, we’ll keep it a surprise as much as possible. You know what event has some of the best mazes ever created? It’s Knott’s Scary Farm. I can honestly say that this is the first year, and first event ever, where I was not disappointed with a single maze. Every single one of the nine mazes this #ScaryFarm season were awesome. Six Flags Magic Mountain has opened their popular Fright Fest event for 2016! The event features SEVEN Scare Zones, some of which are among the best in the industry. Not only does the park have the most Scare Zones of any event in the state, it also has some of the most fascinating themes! Check out our review of each!

The opening weekend was the perfect time to check out all the new terrifying entertainment the park has to offer guests this Haunt season. The park debuted their largest maze ever created, as well as an outstanding Suicide Squad scare zone that is definitely one of the highlights of this year’s event. Six Flags Magic Mountain invited California Coaster Kings, along with a few other theme-park bloggers and news outlets, to take a look at the construction site of the new Justice League: Battle for Metropolis. In addition to which we also got a full walk-through of the new Aftermath 2: Chaos Rising maze and the Suicide Squad experience! Join us below! 
Several California Coaster Kings team members from throughout the state visited California’s Great America on Labor Day to take the Last Stand on Vortex. Vortex was the park’s Stand-Up coaster that operated for 25 years ’til it took its final riders on board September fifth. The ride will reopen next year as a Floorless Coaster named
