The “Year of the Rooster” gets a wake-up call from DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda stars, Po and Tigress when they make their first-ever appearance during Universal Studios Hollywood’s annual Lunar New Year. The event is included in the price of theme park admission and will take place from Saturday, January 21 to Sunday, February 5, 2017. SeaWorld San Diego just announced their new coaster for 2018, which features an electrifying theme and color scheme and will launch riders high above Mission Bay as San Diego’s tallest and fastest coaster! The new Premier Rides Multi-Launch coaster is part of the park’s huge makeover and will add to the park’s line-up of thrilling attractions! After wrapping up some Holiday-related trips it was time to head back to Universal Studios Hollywood for a few hours! And I only stayed for a few hours indeed, as upon arrival it became terrifyingly clear I was here on the wrong day. Our friend Jeremy helped us out and visited Six Flags Discovery Kingdom to check out the new VR on Kong/ Rage of the Gargoyles! This experience opens to Pass holders on Saturday the 24th for the 2016 Fright Fest event at the park! (It opens to all guests on Friday September 30th). We’ll be there with several team member, so say “hi” if you see us there!
Fear VR: 5150 is a horror based Virtual Reality experience that will be making its debut in Cedar Fair parks this season. Hollow Studios, the company behind the production of this project, has partnered with Cedar Fair Entertainment to bring Fear VR: 5150, to Canada’s Wonderland, Knott’s Scary Farm, and California’s Great America this haunt season, providing a whole new kind of cutting edge horror experience.
Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest has opened for 2016, and of course I was there to experience all mazes!
