Today, with the eighth article, our Spanish Theme Park History series comes to an end. During five months we’ve dived into the history of thirteen Spanish amusement and theme parks, some of which no longer exist, and some others are still operating and receiving guests nowadays. PortAventura World, the main Southern Europe theme park resort, will build a brand new park dedicated to La Liga, the Spanish football league.
Alex: Months after its original opening date, PortAventura has opened its doors this week with tons of new COVID-19 preventive measures. A light celebration of its 25th Anniversary that has been obviously cut down due to other important issues taking place right now. Let’s take a look at the first day of the season!
