This update will be a short one, especially considering I wrote an update six days ago. A lot can change, but not that insanely much has changed. Thus this will be a quick read. The update includes some exciting Wizarding World of Harry Potter news, a little Studio Tour and Fast and the Furious Supercharged, and a few things around the park.
Let’s start off with the fact that the Universal Box Office was closed. Never seen that before. Some Studio Tour Guides didn’t seem to be aware and still advised guests to upgrade their tickets to Season Passes at the UBO. 
The Character Shop on the lower lot is closed. I’m not sure whether it’s temporarily or for a longer period. It had a crazy amount of Despicable Me products, but so do two more gift shops in the park, that are also Despicable Me only. It wouldn’t surprise me if it would be prepped for the new Fast and Furious Supercharged souvenirs, especially after Furious7’s box office hit. 
The Italian Ice Stand is now gone, and so are the turnstiles at the Studio Tour exit, they were there for about… two-three weeks! 
Exciting news, the Fast and Furious Supercharged (opening June 25th) exit is receiving some sort of cover. This picture was taken in the afternoon, when I rode Studio Tour at night a whole lot more was added already, but I couldn’t snap a picture of it. 
Speaking of the Studio Tour, the new trams are very nice and comfortable. And if it was ever your dream to become a Studio Tour Guide, now is your chance as they’re hiring tons of new Tour Guides for the summer crowds, there are open-call auditions on May 4th from 2-4PM!
Remember those cool hedges over at Universal’s Animal Actors (seen in last week’s update)? Well, they have been removed and the new flowers and plants are revealed. They look very nice, and my picture doesn’t, so bare with me and understand that taking pictures in the dark is quite a struggle. 
Let’s move on to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, opening early next year! Construction continues around the castle.

And this will be the challenge of the week… but… try spot the station of Universal Studios Hollywood’s second roller coaster…
The silver metal roofing is the station for the Flight of the Hippogriff! 😀
