Disneyland Resort Update – October 30th 2018

Alexander: Since we haven’t done a Disneyland Resort update in a while, we figured it was time! We’ve definitely been in the mood to soak up as much time as possible at some of our favorite SoCal parks!

– Over the years, many of our images have popped up on other sites and forums, awesome that our coverage spreads, not so awesome that not everyone mentioned where they got the images from. We are totally fine with our audience using our images, BUT ONLY IF credit is given to californiacoasterkings.com. Thank you! –

We started the day with a ride on one of our favorite rapids rides, Grizzly River Run, while it was still warm out.

After a year of exploring all of the world’s Disney parks, it feels nice to come back home to our little castle!

Halloween may have still been a day away, but Sleeping Beauty’s Castle is already decked out in winter snow!

The park was a little busier than we expected; after grabbing FastPass for Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy, we hit up the single rider line for Splash Mountain.

I just can’t get enough of this flume.

Haunted Mansion Holiday was capping out at 120min. Good thing we got our ride in on the Tokyo Disneyland version!

Matterhorn’s rehab is proving to be quite lengthy; a lot of midway work is taking place in front of the ride. Hopefully improved FastPass integration is on the way!

Now that Incredicoaster is operating somewhat consistently, the lines are starting to look more like how they did when it was still California Screamin’. Somehow I don’t think the ride’s current standard of theming is going to hold up over time.

Family photo! Some of your CCK team hard at “work”!

Until next time! Check us out soon for a big Six Flags Magic Mountain update!
