Jurassic World: VelociCoaster Update + Testing – Late March, 2021

We’ve had a busy month but found some time for a quick trip to Universal Orlando Resort. Of course we couldn’t visit and not get some VelociCoaster testing footage! Enjoy this new VelociCoaster update!

– In the past, many of our images have been posted, featured, and shared on forums, social media platforms and websites around the web. We work hard to provide the coverage that we do, and we encourage our audience to share our content and use our images, BUT ONLY IF proper credit is given to thecoasterkings.com. Thank you! –

We’ll start off with some general notes! The coaster has been rumored for soft openings this Spring and the continuous four-train testing is a good indicator that Universal is doing everything they can to open up the coaster. There are new lockers in the Jurassic Park Discovery Center and the ride’s queue and entrance are taking shape.

I also want to focus on Jurassic World: VelociCoaster‘s landscaping for a quick moment. Now the construction of the bridge has finished and the ride’s been testing for a few months, crews have cleaned up the lagoon and surrounding landscaping around Universal Orlando Resort’s new Intamin launch coaster. The lush vegetation looks fantastic. You can click on each image and swipe to take a closer look!

The more we look at the impressive first half of the ride, the more excited we get! The landscaping is gorgeous! You can click on each image and swipe to take a closer look!

Check out the train in action in the first half of the ride!

On page 2 of this update, we’ll take a look at the second half of VelociCoaster from the bridge between Lost Continent and Jurassic Park. We’ve got lots of shots of the ride in action, as well as more video footage! Use the button below to navigate to page 2!
