TRON: Lightcycle Run, a highly anticipated new attraction at Magic Kingdom, has been testing practically nonstop for weeks. The new Vekoma coaster has undergone numerous test cycles, but so far we have only observed empty vehicles and those with test dummies. Nonetheless, we now have footage of actual riders. Hopefully this signifies that the ride will open sooner rather than later.
With the upcoming D23 Expo, we may get a better sense of when TRON: Lightcycle Run will be open. The attraction will undoubtedly be finished this year, but it is possible that Disney may delay the launch in order to make a marketing push for the final quarter of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, which is scheduled to end on March 31, 2023.
Obviously we’re very excited for the ride to open at the Walt Disney World Resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our rides on it at Shanghai Disneyland.
