[yasr_overall_rating size=”medium”]One of the best holiday events around has returned more spectacularly than before; Knott’s Merry Farm! From snow fall in Ghost Town to an incredible ice show in the Charles M. Schultz Theater, Knott’s Merry Farm is one event you can’t miss this Holiday season! Let’s take a quick look at this year’s event!
Let us start in the park’s famous Ghost Town, where wonderful classic looking lights are used throughout all the streets! Creating for a wonderful atmosphere. Within the streets of Ghost Town, there’s the Christmas Crafts Village where many vendors sell unique holiday creations. The Boardwalk has some generally fun decorations throughout the area, as well as the wonderful light packages on some of its rides. The area has an array of colorful lights hanging above the Boardwalk at night. Don’t forget the awesome rides in the area. Though not many are a fan of Boomerang, Xcelerator, Supreme Scream, Rip Tide, Voyage to the Iron Reef, and more rides are also located in the area. The Boardwalk’s Merry Farm decorations also keep in mind the 50’s style of the area. These ‘Season’s Greetings’ Signs are only located on the Boardwalk. Moving to the infamous Santa’s Christmas Cabin! Within the Wilderness Boardwalk, Santa’s Christmas Cabin includes wine tasting, pastries, coffee, cookies and milk, roasted nuts, and most importantly PICS WITH SANTA! Of course Merry Farm hosts a bunch of shows. In fact, more than ten! Here’s the tree-lighting show. Personally, I dislike the show. It’s geared towards a very young audience. The Merry Christmas Snoopy! On Ice show is always phenomenal, and is the true must-see show at Knott’s Merry Farm! The show is pretty much the same as last year, which is a wonderful show! One little thing the did add, is doves. A bunch of doves, not gonna give anything else away, but I LOVED that aspect of the show! I didn’t happen to get a good picture of Christmas on Engine 41, but my favorite Merry Farm attraction is back in all its amazing glory. It’s a wonderful ride on the Ghost Town and Calico Railroad with actors talking about their Christmas time. It’s something you simply can’t miss! And for many the highlight of the event… SNOW FALL IN GHOST TOWN! Every 15 minutes the town turns into a snowy wonderland. Which is very popular with guests of all ages. And this year it extends through pretty much all of Ghost Town!
Thanks for taking a quick look at Knott’s Merry Farm with us! We highly recommend you visit the event this Holiday Season, it runs through January 3rd!
